The 2015 HPL Editor-in-Chief Choice Award was given to the article titled Temperature dependence of parametric instabilities in the context of the shock-ignition approach to inertial confinement fusion, which is authored by Dr. S. Weber from ELI-Beamlines, Czech Republic, and Dr. C. Riconda from LULI, France.

The Editor-in-Chief Choice Award-winning paper is selected by a panel of experts including Editors-in-Chief of Chinese Laser Press (CLP)'s 3 English-language journals: High Power Laser Science and Engineering (HPL), Photonics Research, and Chinese Optics Letters.
